Developmental Editing
Developmental edits look at the big picture, analyzing the plot, structure, content, and marketability of your piece. You’ll get a detailed response highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of your work, broken down by genre-dependent criteria. Specific grammatical or stylistic changes (i.e., at the sentence- or word-level) are not the main focus here, as rewriting and restructuring may be suggested. Communication is key, and I would be happy to meet over the phone or via Skype/Zoom during this process.
